If you’re searching for an English tutor who can provide guidance in building confident, skillful readers, writers, and test takers, you are in the right place! My methods of teaching reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary are my own invention, developed through years of observation and experience to fill in the gaps created by test-driven curriculum and conventional worksheets.
I'm an expert in ISEE, SSAT, SAT, ACT, and college and private school admissions. I also provide fun and engaging math tutoring for elementary and middle school students and education-based study skills/life coaching for young adults.

ABOUT ME
Houston native, born and raised! I have a degree in English Literature with a minor in World Cultures and Literatures from the University of Houston. I went from a high school graduate at the bottom of the third quarter to a Magna Cum Laude university graduate, simply because I applied myself to the task and taught myself study skills I'd never had in high school. I pass on those same skills to my students and continue to apply them in my own work as a teacher: I read what my tutoring students have to read, and write my own version of every writing assignment I give.
